artwork guidelines banner

At Expo Burst, we’re committed to making your display graphics look bold, sharp, and professional. To ensure the best possible print quality, please review the following artwork preparation details before sending us your files.

Logo  Use Our Templates

For accurate sizing and fit, please design your artwork using the official template for your specific product. The product template downloads are located under the tab titled Artwork/Installation on each individual product page. If you have any issues finding the right graphic template simply email our team (including the product SKU) at [email protected] and we will email you the template you need.

Logo  Resolution & Scaling

When designing at full scale, save your artwork at a minimum of 72 DPI. If your template is provided at half scale, increase the resolution to at least 200 DPI to maintain clarity.

Logo  Safe Areas & Bleed

Keep all important content such as text, logos, and key imagery inside the safe area indicated on the template. Extend background colours and images to the full edge of the document to allow proper bleed during printing. Avoid adding crop marks or extra bleed beyond what the template specifies.

Logo  Colour Mode

All Expo Burst graphics are printed in CMYK colour mode. While we can convert from RGB, HEX, or Pantone colours, we recommend designing in CMYK from the start for the most accurate results. For precise brand colour matching, please request a hard proof or speak with our print team before production.

Logo  Fonts & Text

Convert all text to outlines (sometimes called curves) before sending your files. This prevents font substitution and ensures your layout prints exactly as designed. Remember to keep an editable version of your artwork before converting text, in case you need to make changes later.

Logo  Images & Linked Files

Embed all placed images within your artwork file so that nothing is missing when we open it.
We accept high-resolution PSD, AI, EPS, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF files, but please note that editable Canva or low-resolution files are not suitable for print production.

Logo  File Formats

Preferred file types include high-resolution PDF (press quality), Adobe Illustrator (AI or EPS), or Adobe Photoshop (PSD).

Logo  Final Submission

Before submitting, flatten layers where possible, embed fonts or convert text to outlines, and confirm the artwork matches the exact size and specifications of the product template.

Logo  Artwork Upload

Once your design is complete, submit your files through our Upload Artwork page. Please include your order number, business name, and any special notes such as colour match requirements or finishing preferences. An Upload Artwork button can be found on the product page, on your Cart page and on the top menu of every page.

Logo  Review & Proofing

After receiving your artwork, our production team will review the files for compatibility, size accuracy, and resolution. If we spot any issues, we’ll email you to advise of any required adjustments before printing. We recommend submitting your files early, especially for events with tight timelines, to allow time for review and any necessary revisions.
